On Monday 29th June Twyford hosted the Trust Oxbridge and Admissions Assessment Day for Year 12 students from Twyford and William Perkin applying for the most competitive university courses.
As part of this, we were delighted to welcome Dr Azmi Rahman, Dr Petros Spanou and Saffron Hooghan Cormican, all from the University of Oxford. The academics led subject-specific admissions sessions for students considering Oxbridge applications and this was followed by a lecture in their field.
In the afternoon students were divided into subject-specific workshops to support them with preparation for university admissions assessments.
