We start the week with some fantastic news that a Twyford CofE High School student was selected as the winner of the 2023-24 Alice Gross Memorial Song Writing Award.

Eden is a Year 12 Music Tech student who won the competition with their entry 'I Don't know'.

We are delighted that 3 of the runners up are also from Twyford High School - congratulations to Olivia (Year 12) who wrote 'Let Go', Marcella (Year 12) who wrote 'One Step At a Time' and Alice (Year 10) who wrote 'Upset'.

In fact Twyford CofE Academies Trust are very proud that 5 of the 7 runners up are students from the Trust.

The Judges mentioned that they thought this was the highest quality of songs they have ever had submitted and this was the highest number of entrants to the competition in the history of the Award.
